We’re Surrounded!
...every Eucharistic Liturgy here at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, at the time of the general intercessions, we hear read aloud the names of the sisters and associates whose anniversary of death was on that date. We also are reminded to recall family members or friends who have run the race and kept the faith. They become my circle for the day. (And, as I get older, I recognize many of the names!) Celebrating Saint Mother Theodore Guerin
...Oct. 25, 1998, which I was blessed to attend. What a joyful event! I also was able to attend her Canonization on Oct. 15, 2006. What an amazing experience to celebrate both events and share it with the sisters, alumni and friends of the Woods. I had visited Saint Mary-of-the-Woods many times before becoming a Providence Associate in November 2017.
