Grieving and the Holidays

Are you anxious about getting through the holidays without a loved one who has died recently? This retreat day will give you the sacred space and time you need to let grief be your teacher. Those who come will have an opportunity to reflect upon, pray about, and allow God and others who have also experienced a significant loss, to help you create a plan to grieve gracefully during the holidays. Registration fee $45 includes lunch.

Dementia-Related Caregiver Support

“God gave burdens, but He also gave shoulders.” ~ Yiddish Proverb Caring for loved ones living with dementia is an honor and a privilege. But for many it is also wrought with overwhelming grief and isolation. Dementia is overwhelming not only for those experiencing it, but also for their caregivers and families. This is an opportunity for caregivers to share their stories, ask questions and receive support from others traveling a similar journey.
