You can give us the gift of yourself by volunteering.

As a volunteer for the Sisters of Providence, you help continue the mission that Saint Mother Theodore began back in 1840. We’ll help you find the right opportunity that fits your interests and lifestyle.

Volunteering should bring you joy and satisfaction. It’s also a great way for you to meet people, gain experience, and boost your confidence.

Carl on a Tour

“Being a docent is among the top rewards of my retirement years. As I repay the Sisters of Providence who taught me through the first 12 years of my schooling, I am humbled by the children and adults who thank me for introducing them to Anne-Thèrése Guérin, known to all as Saint Mother Theodore.”

“With every minute I’ve spent at the Woods, I’ve received so much more than I’ve given!  The relationships I’ve developed with Sisters, staff, and other volunteers are probably the most significant and positive in my life. I have found a new family, who love me unconditionally and with whom I share a spirituality which has deepened and broadened among them.”
