Journals and Letters week 9: The Journey’s end
Mother Theodore entered a culture entirely unknown to her; so perhaps the mission succeeded and endures because of her willingness to act, observe, learn and adapt.
Called by God to life as a doctor and a Sister of Providence
In reflecting on my journey, I recalled a quote from Mother Theodore which really resonated with me. “You will see many things in a new light if you give the Holy Spirit free access to your heart.”

When you support the Sisters of Providence, you are supporting each Sister of Providence as she works to educate, advocate for and care for people on the margins of society.
