Virtual monthly prayer with the Sisters of Providence continues in October
Single women ages 18-42 are invited to pray with the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, via Zoom, from 7-7:45 p.m., EDT, on Oct. 7.
Sisters of Providence Vocation Director Sister Joni Luna, SP, said she hopes the monthly prayer sessions will engage those who participate.
“These prayer groups will offer women in the same peer group a space to pray and share while getting to know the Sister of Providence and some of our Sisters,” Sister Joni said.
Each month’s service will be led by a different Sister of Providence and be focused on a different topic.
For the month of October, join Sister Connie Kramer, SP, who will lead prayer on the topic of grief.
Other monthly prayer topics include:
- November 7: Sister Evelyn Ovalles, SP, leading prayer on trust,
- December 7: Sister Paula Modaff, SP, leading prayer on anger,
- January 7, 2025: Sister Tracey Horan, SP, leading prayer on vulnerability,
- February 7, 2025: Sister Marsha Speth, SP, leading prayer on fear,
- March 7, 2025: Sister Ann Sullivan, SP, leading prayer on hope,
- April 7, 2025: Sister Barbara Sheehan, SP, leading prayer on shame,
- May 7, 2025: Sister Betty Koressel, SP, leading prayer on joy, and
- June 7, 2025: Sister Marilyn Baker, SP, leading prayer on gratitude.
