Sister Marilyn was inspired to join the Sisters of Providence in the seventh grade as she worked alongside sisters and saw them taking part in everyday activities.
Upon discerning a religious vocation, she chose to become a Sister of Providence over other Congregations.
She is a music enthusiast who favors shared prayer services.
