‘Sisters travel to Washington, D.C. for prayer vigil’

Thank you to the Tribune-Star for interviewing Sister Emily and Sister Editha Ben prior to their visit to Washington, D.C., for a press conference and prayer vigil outside of the White House as they and more than 80 other Catholic sisters call on the Biden Administration to end the misuse of Title 42.

Sister Emily and Sister Editha were joined by Sister Tracey Horan, Sister Barbara Battista, Sister Rosemary Nudd, Sister Carol Nolan, Sister Patty Wallace and Sister Mary Montgomery and two Providence Associates.

The press conference began at 9:45 a.m., and took place at Lafayette Square in Washington, D.C. Sister Tracey spoke at the event. Click here for video of the conference.
