As I grew into adulthood and left home to pursue my own dreams of becoming a teacher, I realized what wonderful life lessons I learned from my mom. Especially lessons about the importance of a strong work ethic and finishing what you have started.

It is the Easter of my being

The life after death is different from the here and now. What about our seeing or sensing a Loved One after their death? Can we understand that the dead live but not in the same way as the here and now?

'It's like answering questions about our family home.'

Volunteering here has helped me reach into the depths of my mind and soul. It has made me realize how much serving my community and making others happy means to me. This experience has made me so much closer to God as I use my God-given gifts to serve.

It is alive and clings to us in way we have forgotten

How can we NOT sing our Easter Alleluias?! Even in the midst of all this suffering. Indeed, we must sing because of all this suffering! That is what the paschal mystery is all about!

Be resurrected. Hear Jesus call your name.

May I too be a companion to all on the journey home to our Provident God who has blessed me with this gift of abundance.

Bearing God’s image requires us to love even the Russian dictator. What does this mean for our own response to this situation? What would God have them/us do in this moment?

Reviving these memories of the beautiful people in a country rooted in a strong Christian heritage makes my heart weep as we pray ...
