Plan to join White Violet Center for Eco-Justice, a ministry of the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, for the upcoming workshop “Lunch and Learn: Native and Invasives of Indiana Woods.”
The workshop will take place from noon-3 p.m., on Saturday, May 9, at White Violet Center and various other locations at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.

Begin the day with a lunch prepared by White Violet Center Chef Ann Testa, which will feature seasonal produce from the gardens of White Violet Center, followed by a guided hike with forester Stuart Haney, who will help you identify the native trees and plants that have been around since Saint Mother Theodore Guerin walked the Woods.
In addition, Haney will identify the invasive plants the Sisters of Providence are working to eliminate.
Cost to attend the workshop is $40 and the registration deadline is May 4.
