Scenes from Our 2025 Saint Mother Theodore Guerin Donor Dinner!
Approximately 250 benefactors and others joined the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, on Saturday, June 7, for the annual Saint Mother Theodore Guerin Donor Dinner.
General Superior Sister Dawn Tomaszewski offered the welcome followed by a prayer from Major Gifts Officer and Donor Relations Specialist Diane Weidenbenner.
A beautiful meal was shared prior to the presentation from the keynote speaker, Sister Tracey Horan.
The Congregation then bestowed its annual awards. The Queen Amelia Award was presented to Sarah and John Lechleiter (Providence Cristo Rey High School President Tyler Mayer accepted on their behalf). The Sarah and Joseph Thralls Award was given to Jane Fischer. The Companions in Providence Awards went to Judy Houghton, Rebecca Caldwell, Betsy Simon, Jean Brashier and Mamas Mending. The Rooted in Providence Awards were given to Sarah and John Lechleiter, Shirley Bayer-Altman (which was accepted by Bettye Jean Kuhn), Julie and Dave Fuhs and Margaret McElroy. And the Dujarie Award to the late Julia Margaret Rooney Ladner (which was accepted by her family).
Sister Dawn also offered closing remarks.
Below are some photos from the evening. Thank you so much for such a blessed time!
