A Providence Associate’s look at Chapter

"Something I often say about my relationship with the Sisters of Providence is that I cannot stray too far from who I am when I am with them. They keep me grounded, keep me real. The conversations at Chapter, both about the future and the past, were not only relevant to the identity of the Congregation. They spoke to who each of the attendees were as individuals as well as to who we are all together as community," writes Providence Associate Kaitlyn Willy.

Sister Joni Luna: first vows and the grace of an undivided heart

Sister Joni Luna reflects as she makes her first vows as a Sister of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods today. "Pray that in all I represent from this day forward, in all my thoughts, words and actions, especially in my doubts, frustrations, and failings, that I may place my whole self in God’s Providential care."

Providence Associate connects to the Woods

I intend to stay a Providence Associate for as long as I can, in the hopes that someone somewhere will think of the Sisters of Providence when they think of me. And also, in the hopes that maybe I can influence one person to love and listen unconditionally. Because we are indeed only human and all with a story to tell.
