Here you will find stories about those together in mission with the Sisters of Providence who share the unique spirit and gift of Providence. These partners say “yes” to God’s action in their lives and sense that they are somehow co-creators with God in bringing about a loving, merciful and just world. They do this through prayer, education, service, advocacy and financial support in whatever circumstances of life they find themselves.
We need their love for God: sisters influence former student’s lifework
“I have always said the Sisters of Providence were such a great influence on me as far as being an independent woman. They were very alive in the community and they shared themselves with us. They cared about the poor. And they cared about us. I just had a fabulous experience at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College largely because of them,” Kathy said.

Keep on being sisterly: school children support sisters with cards and money
Several weeks ago we received a large envelope with cards, drawings and notes from the students and staff there. It also included a donation of $674 to support the Sisters of Providence! We are so grateful for the financial and moral support.
