Sister Ruth, formerly Sister Constance Mary, was born Ruth Evelyn Sampson on Feb. 21, 1928. She died on June 5, 2013. She was 85 years old and had been a Sister of Providence for 66 years. Sister Joyce was a native of Joliet, Ill. Her final ministry was in prayer at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. Sister Joyce, formerly Sister Robert Ellen, entered the Congregation on July 22, 1947 professed final vows on Jan. 23, 1955. She graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a bachelor’s degree in education. She also earned a master’s degree in education from Indiana State University. She also ministered with the Association of Professional Partnership with Lithuanian Education (A.P.P.L.E.) for 20 years. Sister Donna, formerly Sister Donna Rose, was born on May 15, 1940, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
