...Sister Bernice entered the Congregation in January 1940. She professed first vows in 1942 and final vows in 1946. Sister Bernice ministered as a teacher at schools in Illinois, Indiana and Oregon. She also ministered as a pastoral associate at St. John Parish in Newburgh, Indiana, for 13 years and was the Congregation’s director of postulants for a time.
