Sister Ann Brendan was born Mary Caroline on Oct. 15, 1935. She died on May 16, 2014. She was 78 years old and had been a Sister of Providence for 53 years. Sister Ann Brendan entered the Congregation in 1953. Her first vows took place in January 1956, and her final vows were in January 1961. Sister Ann Brendan ministered as a teacher in Chicago and Indianapolis, including several years at Holy Cross School, where she helped organize a kindergarten....

Sister Mary Imelda entered the Congregation on Feb. 2, 1939. She professed first vows in 1941 and final vows in 1947. Always wanting to instruct children, Sister Mary Imelda ministered as a teacher for 53 years in Chicago, Indiana and Maryland. She taught primary grades for two decades...
