Sister Ann Brendan was born Mary Caroline on Oct. 15, 1935. She died on May 16, 2014. She was 78 years old and had been a Sister of Providence for 53 years. Sister Ann Brendan entered the Congregation in 1953. Her first vows took place in January 1956, and her final vows were in January 1961. Sister Ann Brendan ministered as a teacher in Chicago and Indianapolis, including several years at Holy Cross School, where she helped organize a kindergarten....
