Sister Charlotte Bruck
Sister Charlotte was born on September 30, 1917 and died on October 28, 2011.
Sister Charlotte Marie was born Muriel Eileen Bruck on Sept. 30, 1917. She died on Oct. 28, 2011. She was 94 years old and had been a Sister of Providence for 74 years.
Sister Charlotte Marie entered the Congregation on July 22, 1937. She professed first and final vows on Jan. 23, 1940 and 1946, respectively.
Sister Charlotte Marie began her teaching ministry in 1940 at St. Mel in Chicago. She also ministered in the classrooms of schools in Indiana, In 1968, Sister Charlotte began ministry in guidance counseling at the diocesan office in Fort Wayne. Eventually, she moved to Orlando, Fla., and ministered as a counselor for 10 years in the diocesan office.
In 1981, Sister Charlotte Marie was involved in a car accident and never really fully recovered. She returned to the Woods in 1986.
