Are you 12-to-18 years old? Come share your time and talents with our retired Sisters and friends of Providence.

Visit with our residents and help them with activities such as Bingo, exercise, baking, attending events and more. Your presence will brighten a sisters’ day!

Teens will gather at 9 a.m. each day, beginning on June 9, and ending on June 11, in the lobby of Providence Spirituality and Conference Center at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.

Wear comfortable shoes and clothes that allow you to be mobile. Lunch is provided.

The volunteer opportunity ends at 2 p.m., each day.

Sister Joni Luna, SP, currently ministers as vocation director for the Sisters of Providence. She is a native of San Antonio, Texas. She entered the Sisters of Providence in 2012 after spending many years as a physical education teacher, athletic director and coach in Texas. In addition to her education degree, Sister Joni has a master's in educational administration and supervision.
