Sundays at the Woods: Spring Architectural Tour

Speaker: Tommy Kleckner, director of Indiana Landmarks, Western Regional office in Terre Haute. Kleckner holds a bachelor’s degree in community and regional planning from Iowa State University and a master’s degree in historic preservation from Ball State University, Muncie. Indiana Landmarks is a statewide nonprofit historic preservation organization, the largest of its kind in the country. Kleckner has overseen historic preservation and heritage conservation services in a 17-county region of western Indiana since 2002. Earth Day Festival and Crafts Fair

April 27 at 10:30 am - 3:00 pm EDT
No cost, donations accepted

The Wabash Valley's largest and longest running Earth Day celebration featuring food, fun, crafts, activities and education for the entire family, all focused on care for creation, especially our Earth.  Oh, and of course alpacas! Admission is free.  Donations are appreciated.  Make sure to bring money for food and shopping.

Sundays at the Woods: Outdoor Sacred Sites

August 18 at 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm EDT
No cost, donations accepted

Put on your walking shoes and learn about the history and present day use of over 15 sacred sites at the Woods.  We will make pilgrim stops at some of the better known holy sites as well as some very remote hidden treasures that grace the property of the Sisters of Providence. Register by August 15. (limit 20 people) Meet in the lobby at Providence Spirituality & Conference Center.
