Celebrating 30 Years in Ministry!

White Violet Center for Eco-Justice, a ministry of the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, hosted former interns and staff, many sisters and others on Saturday, September 26, 2026, to celebrate 30 years of ministry.

The interns and others all shared a meal while reminiscing about their time in the ministry.

Live music was also provided by former intern Christina Blust and Judah Minister in addition to Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College Campus Minister Timothy Tesmer.

Those in attendance received a commemorative White Violet Center T-shirt.

Sisters of Providence

The Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, are a congregation of Roman Catholic women religious (sisters) who minister throughout the United States and Taiwan. Saint Mother Theodore Guerin founded the Sisters of Providence in 1840. The congregation has a mission of being God's Providence in the world by committing to performing works of love, mercy and justice in service among God's people.
