Tribune-Star columnist writes feature on St. Anne Shell Chapel

“A sense of marvel entered Sister Jan Craven’s voice as she described the distinctive nature of Saint Anne’s Shell Chapel.

“Craven stood inside the tiny 15-foot by 15-foot building on a sultry Tuesday afternoon. July sunshine glowed through the chapel’s open wooden door, illuminating its stained-glass windows and creating peculiar shadows on its seashell-covered walls.”

Tribune-Star columnist Mark Bennett recently interviewed Sister Jan Craven regarding the St. Anne Shell Chapel for his piece, “As Shell Chapel turns 150, Woods pieces together its unique history.”
