WVC to host Alpaca Yoga May 24
Join the staff of White Violet Center for Eco-Justice (WVC), a ministry of the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, and others as they host the upcoming Alpaca Yoga, scheduled to take place from 11 a.m.-noon on Sunday, May 24.
Shannon Hamilton, Athletic Director for Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and certified Yoga Instructor at Common Ground in Terre Haute, will lead this unique experience along with the alpacas in the alpaca pasture.
Participants must be 18 years old or older to take part. Space is limited.
Attendees are asked to arrive at 10:45 a.m., and meet at the White Violet Center Farm Store. From there, you’ll walk to the female alpaca pasture for the one-hour-long exercise.
Cost is $15 per person and the registration deadline is May 23.
