A park in Chicago may soon be named after a Sister of Providence

The nonprofit news source, Block Club Chicago, recently wrote a report regarding the possibility of a park in Humboldt Park may soon be named after the Late Sister Patty Fillenwarth, SP.

Sister Patty ministered as a teacher in Indiana, Illinois, Washington, D.C., and the country of Peru.

In addition, she also established Providence Family Services in Chicago, in 1994 and continued ministering there until 2018.
