Sisters to host ‘Pilgrimage to Palestine, Pilgrimage to Home: A Report Back’

Join the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, for the upcoming “Pilgrimage to Palestine, Pilgrimage to Home: A Report Back” program.

The program will take place from 6:15-7:45 p.m., on Thursday, March 26, in the Providence Hall Community Room at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.

The educational driven livestreamed event will last for one hour, followed by a 30-minute question and answer session.

During this past Advent, 17 peacemakers led by Catholic Workers from across the country spent time in Palestine-Israel, hosted by Sabeel, which is the grassroots ecumenical Palestinian liberation theology movement rooted in the universal ethic of nonviolence.

The March 26 program will show how Palestinians are seeking solidarity and a physical presence from faith communities in the United States amidst the ongoing conflict in Gaza that is spreading to the Occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.
