You mean the world to us!

Have we told you lately that you are awesome? You are!

We have more good news. You’ve given us a reason to celebrate! As a faithful friend this past year to the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, your prayer and monetary support helped us reach our financial goals through the fiscal year ending August 31, 2021.

Although religious sisters receive a portion of the annual collection for retired religious, congregations of Catholic sisters like the Sisters of Providence are not funded by the Catholic Church. We literally couldn’t have done it without you, especially during these unprecedented times. We depend on earnings from our ministries and your donations to keep our mission funded and alive.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Sister Kathleen Bernadette Smith offering a toast to you!

Whether you donated to support our retired sisters who have collectively served as educators in schools for more than 100 years, invested in vital ministries that help others today through prayer, education, service and advocacy or kept us in your prayers, we are extremely grateful. Your partnership with our congregation of nearly 240 Catholic sisters, and nearly 300 Providence Associates, has enabled us to be the hands and feet of Jesus in 13 states and the District of Columbia and Asia.

You help make the world a better place!

As Christians serving a broken, impoverished world, our work isn’t done. We look forward to working together with you in the coming year and continuing to offer love, mercy and justice to those in need. You make a difference in the world, and to the Sisters of Providence. God bless you!

Gratefully, the Sisters of Providence

P.S. We recently introduced our Providence GEM program for monthly givers. If you’re interested, you can read more here.
