In this video clip, Sister of Providence Mary Tomlinson shares her very real experiences during a Come and See weekend with the Sisters of Providence that she attended soon after she began considering religious life. The weekend had a profound impact on her future. Today, Sister Mary, who entered the Congregation in 1990, ministers as development director for Guerin Outreach Ministries. Watch for more from Sister Mary in coming months, including a video clip on her experience telling her then college-age son that she was planning to become a Sister of Providence.

The next Come and See weekend for women wanting to learn more about life as a Sister of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods is right around the corner. Could God be calling you? Or maybe there is someone you know who could use a nudge of encouragement? It’s for single, Catholic women ages 18-42 and will be April 11-13 at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Ind.
