Our Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods are passionate about serving God by caring for all God’s creation, especially those most in need. We serve in many ways, from education to social justice, parish ministry, hospital ministry, serving the economically poor, advocating for immigrants and for a healthy environment. Sisters of Providence presence expanding at the border

Although Tracey’s enthusiasm for her ministry never waned, “the distance and separation from community and family had been hard. I knew I would need support from my sisters ... so I extended an invitation to join me here in Nogales.” Sisters Marilú Covani, SP, and Nancy Bartasavich, SP, accepted that invitation.
