Providence Spirituality
“The God of Providence carries the entire mystery of the divine, ever trustworthy, never failing. The God of Providence offers all the possibilities for ourselves and the world, including both what God wants to happen and what God is willing to let happen because God honors the gift of human freedom. The choices are ours — truly free, but ever grounded in the grace of God, the Holy Mystery of Providence, about which there is ever more to be discovered.” – Sister Ruth Eileen Dwyer

To stand, as our Pope Francis suggests over and over again, with those on the margins. And if we are going to stand on the margins, we may have to move, to leave behind all that has become familiar and comfortable for the sake of the reign of God.

Sisters and interns: becoming a little bit of each other
“There’s no way either one of us could go without being touched by the other after we’ve come in contact,” Sister Ruth explained. “We become a little bit them and they become a little bit us."

What is White Violet Center all about?
“We understand Providence as God’s care for all of creation. And, so, this loving, Provident God set forth into motion this web of life. And we’re called to be co-creators with that God to sustain and nourish that life."
