Providence Cristo Rey High School
Wouldn’t it be great if high school helped you gain work experience? Providence Cristo Rey High School, a sponsored institution of the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, helps students do just that!
Besides taking high school classes, students also work with community employers to gain real-world skills to help prepare them for after graduation. The co-educational school, which is located in the near-central city area of Indianapolis, was founded in 2007 to serve students from a variety of racial and cultural backgrounds who cannot afford tuition rates at other Catholic archdiocesan or private high schools.
The school seeks to identify promising students who wish to succeed and to develop their human potential, and who are willing to work hard in school and at a work site. Each student commits to developing their academic, spiritual and physical talents and other competencies in order to pursue and succeed in higher education.
