…as a teacher in Chicago and Indianapolis, including several years at Holy Cross School, where she helped organize a kindergarten. In 1987, Sister Ann Brendan began working on the opening of Woods Day Care. Initially, the day care was located in the basement of Hulman Hall. Eventually, a building was constructed for the day care and Sister Ann Brendan ministered as the director there until 2005. It was said that Woods Day Care was Sister Ann Brendan’s “heart and soul.”…
