Are you 12-to-18 year olds? Come share your time and talents with our retired Sisters of Providence at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods and health care residents. Visit with elder sisters and help them with activities such as Bingo, exercise, baking, attending events and more. Your presence will brighten a sisters’ day!
Our December volunteer opportunity will coincide with our Christmas Fun at the Woods event. Teens will help set up for the event and then will bring our elders around so they can enjoy the event. Teen volunteer hours for December are from noon until 5 p.m. Volunteers will meet in the lobby of Providence Spirituality and Conference Center at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes that allow you to be mobile. Lunch is provided.
