Learn how to grow mushrooms and enjoy a special lunch prepared by Chef Ann Testa featuring local mushrooms (some grown by facilitator Cayle Moreo), along with eggs and produce grown at the White Violet Center gardens. Discussion topics will include the use of mushrooms as a sustainable food source and how to grow your own gourmet and medicinal mushrooms.

Participants will make their own mushroom straw logs to take home.
