Grumbling with Saint Mother Theodore
Saint Mother Theodore, truly I have great need of your prayers. I am quite a grumbler.

This Memorial Day: Take time to Remember
This Memorial Day, I hope you will remember some hero or heroine of your own, an obscure apostle, perhaps.

Saint Mother Theodore: The real woman behind the image
I find this image of Mother Theodore very compelling. Because it hangs in my work space, I see it often. For me the image conveys an entirely different way to know Mother Theodore. This isn’t the iconic formal portrait of…

Volunteering isn’t just mundane tasks. It’s knowing and feeling and connecting with people.

Graduation Day!
Education has always been at the heart of the mission of the Sisters of Providence – whether it be education of ourselves or others

The living and growing Providence Associate relationship in California and beyond
My hands-on experience with Providence Associates came in California, during the time of our ministry at Providence in the Desert teaching English to migrant farm workers in Coachella. Our Providence Associates become a part of our community. They assist us as they are able: with their prayers, their contributions, their traveling the long distances to participate in our gatherings, and with their outreach, both in California and in Indiana.

Thanking the Sisters through social media
It is only Thursday. If you haven’t had a chance yet and you’re still in school, thank your teacher today!

The hope of Easter is planted deep in our hearts
May the convergence of spring and Easter restore your soul

Looking back on Good Friday
Some life lessons were learned in the quiet of St. Monica Church

The Easter Triduum: celebrating our salvation story
As we enter these last three days of Holy Week — called the Easter Three Days, the Triduum — I wish you every grace and blessing!
May we be transformed by the Paschal Triduum and may it strengthen our commitment to Jesus.

Praise for the 10-second rule
'... the 10-Second Rule was like a positive version of the old, familiar adage, “If you are angry, count to 10 before acting ...'
