WVC to host ‘Snackin’ with the Alpacas’ program September 30

Children of all ages, along with their guardians, are invited to join White Violet Center for Eco-Justice (WVC) staffers and others this summer for the “Snackin’ with the Alpacas: All Ages Reading Program.”

The event will take place on Wednesday, September 30, from noon-1:30 p.m.

Bring a sack lunch for a picnic near the alpacas while WVC Director of Outreach and Events Tara Elmore, Farm Projects Assistant Raven Renn and Vigo County Public Library West Branch Assistant Librarian Beth Nelson read some fun alpaca stories. Tara will also offer alpaca fun facts.

After lunch, all guests will be able to meet some of the alpacas and receive a take-home alpaca craft.

There is no cost to attend, but donations for alpaca care are always appreciated.

No registration to attend any of the programs is required.
