The Providence Associate annual meeting brought associates and sisters together from near and far to pray, laugh, learn and form community.
The time started Friday, June 28 with an optional workshop on nonviolence. On Saturday associates learned about SP ministries in Asia from sisters ministering there. They attended the Jubilee Mass and reception and some chose to tour White Violet Center for Eco-Justice or join some of the sisters and others for a peaceful rally at the courthouse in Terre Haute in the evening. Sunday brought Mass, a business meeting and updates, a visit from the SP general council and an end to the fun-filled silent auction. On Sunday night and Monday associates joined the sisters for the first part of their annual meeting.
