Welcome to the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Ind. Whether you are a returning visitor or you’ll be visiting us for the first time, you are welcome to visit our 1,200 beautiful wooded acres, The Gift Shop at Providence Center, attend Mass (weekday or Sunday), join us for Sunday Brunch at O’Shaughnessy Dining Hall, visit the alpacas, have a picnic on the grass or just stroll the peaceful grounds. Visit for a few hours, a day or longer (housing options are available). The public is welcome! Here are just a few of the enjoyable areas and activities at the Woods:

Providence Spirituality & Conference Center

The “welcome” center for the Sisters of Providence and Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. Includes The Heritage Museum, National Shrine of Our Lady of Providence, The Gift Shop at Providence Center, the Life and Mission Hall and historic Dioramas and entrance to the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. Schedule a tour or pilgrimage through Providence Center and stay tuned for special programs and events hosted throughout the year.
