Biography

Sister Rosemary, formerly Sister Sebastian, was a native of Chicago. Her final ministry was in prayer and as a justice advocate at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. Prior to this, she ministered in social justice and as the director of an English as a Second Language site in Bolingbrook, Illinois.

Sister Rosemary entered the Congregation on July 22, 1958. She professed final vows on August 15, 1966.

She graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She also has a master’s of studies degree in biology and chemistry from the University of North Dakota.

Sister Rosemary also ministered as a teacher, chemist, office supervisor, computer programmer and parish business manager.
