Sister Joanne is a native of Lansing, Ill. Currently, she ministers in Congregation Department Ministry at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.
Sister Joanne, formerly Sister David Therese, entered the Congregation on July 22, 1956. She professed final vows on August 15, 1964.
She graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a bachelor’s degree in education. She also has a master’s degree in education from Indiana State University and a business administration master’s degree from Kensington University. Sister Joanne also has a doctorate in administration and supervision from Indiana State University.
Sister Joanne describes herself as a “computer nut.”
She has ministered for many years in consultation and in education.
