Biography
Sister Frances Mary was born on July 23, 1927. She died on March 26, 2011. She was 84 years old and had been a Sister of Providence for 65 years.
Sister Frances Maureen entered the Congregation on Feb. 2, 1946. She professed first vows on Aug. 15, 1948, and final vows on Aug. 25, 1953.
She began her teaching ministry in 1948 at Sacred Heart, Evansville, Ind. Sister Frances Maureen taught in many other schools in Indiana, as well as Illinois, where she also ministered as a principal.
From 1983 to 1991, she was a member of the provincial team at St. Joseph Providence, Park Ridge, Ill. She returned to the Woods in 2008.
She was known to have many friends who she kept in touch with for many years.
