Biography
Sister Catherine, better known as Sister Cathy, was a native of Chicago. Her final ministry was in residential services at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. She had recently ministered as a volunteer for Catholic Charities Housing in the Diocese of Venice, located in Venice, Florida.
Sister Cathy, formerly Sister Joseph Norine, entered the Congregation on February 2, 1956. She professed final vows on August 15, 1963.
Sister Cathy said she enjoyed football, swimming and cooking.
She ministered for many years as a cook in Missouri, Illinois and Florida.
Sister Cathy also established Casa San Juan Bosco in response to Hurricane Charley in 2004.
