Prayer for those facing fertility issues

It should be so easy, so natural, this thing we want so badly,
this family we long for with hopeful hearts and open arms.

I feel failure like a heavy weight, dragging my spirit down.
I want to give life, to make of myself a fertile field,
where goodness grows abundantly.

Maker of All, let this be our time.
Let love take root in us and grow,
swelling like fruit on the vine.

Or if this cannot be, engender in me acceptance.
Let me find new ways to parent,
knowing that all ways are Your ways.
As long as You stand at the center,
our family will be perfect.
