Prayer

A Breath of Life

Ground and Source of All Being, I come to you filled with grief.

My heart breaks as I witness the pain of the world.

Do not let the loss we are experiencing on personal and global levels pull us into helplessness and despair.

Christ Jesus, you show us the highest potential of humanity, to love and support one another.

Give us minds that seek an understanding that will bridge divides.

May our hearts become like yours, overflowing with compassion.

Spirit, Breath of Life, knowing that we are one Earth Community, may we speak and act for the common good, that all may know safety, belonging and freedom and experience life in abundance.

Amen.
