Suzanne Brezette

…teaching, Sister Suzanne began ministering at the Senior Friendship Centers in Florida in public relations and as an administrative assistant. She also ministered at a retirement facility in Florida before returning to Indiana to work at St. Gabriel in Indianapolis. She also established the Gift Shop at Providence Center, ministering there for six years. An advocate for social justice, it was said of Sister Suzanne that “she was the best-dressed person holding a protest sign at the Newport Chemical Depot.”…

Mary Imelda Coulup

…entered the Congregation on Feb. 2, 1939. She professed first vows in 1941 and final vows in 1947. Always wanting to instruct children, Sister Mary Imelda ministered as a teacher for 53 years in Chicago, Indiana and Maryland. She taught primary grades for two decades and intermediate grades for 33 years. One of her greatest passions in her life was her love of Notre Dame Football. Margaret Ann McNamara

…at Holy Family, New Albany, Ind. She taught in many other schools in Indiana and Illinois. She also ministered at a principal at several of these schools. Sister Margaret Ann also ministered at the American Society of Clinical Pathologists as an educator coordinating the testing and certification of medical personnel. In 1996, she was elected to the Congregation’s General Council. She is known to be one of the first sisters of the Congregation to work in a non-Church related institution….

Rosalie Marie Weller

…on July 15, 1934. She was professed on Jan. 23, 1942. Her initial ministry was that of a cook in various convents for 38 years. She also served in parish ministry in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Indianapolis, from 1975 to 2001. She returned to the Motherhouse in 2001, but stayed active until 2011, when she began a ministry of prayer. In 1992, she entered a newspaper contest for recipes. She submitted a recipe for date pudding and won first prize….
