…July 16, 1936. She professed first and final vows on Jan. 23, 1939 and 1945, respectively. Sister Mary Michael ministered as a teacher for 11 years in schools in Indiana and Illinois. But in 1950, she pursued a bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical science, and in 1953, she began a ministry as a community pharmacist for 37 years. She officially retired to a ministry of prayer in 2004. She always said that her favorite place to be was in the outdoors….
