In prayer this week, perhaps we can consider what words of Jesus are hardest for us to accept. Can we speak honestly with Jesus about them?

When we pray this week, perhaps we can discern what person(s) God might be calling us to comfort or with whom to share joy.

Perhaps during a walk or while sitting quietly, we can reflect on who or what has conveyed God’s love to us today and offer a prayer of thanksgiving for that gift.

Perhaps in prayer this week, in addition to asking for our immediate needs, we might focus on the deeper experience of the gift of the Bread of Life.

Consider the many ways you have been blessed in your life. Give thanks for God's abundant generosity.

Make the effort now to set aside a few moments each day to rest, to be quiet and to let Jesus speak to one’s heart.

Consider this week how you may need to do some personal house cleaning to make room and time to focus your life on treasures given by a caring and generous God such as love, compassion, generosity, forgiveness, and kindness.

Consider how you can encourage the giftedness of people in your life, your family, your community during this coming week

What does 'do not fear, only believe' say to you at this moment in your life?

'Let the peace that allowed Jesus to sleep amidst the storm surround you.'

Does the picture fit with your image of the kingdom of God?

'... let us prepare ourselves to hear these words again by being fully mindful of each part of our liturgy.'
