Virtual prayer, support reassures teen
It’s a great experience to listen to and empathize with each other.

Reflecting on Crises with Saint Mother Theodore Guerin
"My very dear and beloved Daughters … I have confidence that God will not permit any of you to be attacked by the epidemic. Be cheerful, kind to one another; having nothing on your conscience that could trouble you. Do not fast. Let your food be wholesome and well prepared."

Letter to Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Archbishop of New York
For these reasons and with all due respect we ask you to clarify your much-publicized praise for Mr. Trump’s leadership

Nurses Day prayers from the Sisters of Providence
Three of our Sisters of Providence with nursing backgrounds offer prayers for nurses during this time of coronavirus epidemic.

Teachers have a lasting impact
We thought this story shared by Sister Florence Norton illustrates how special the relationship with a teacher can be, even after many years!

The Art of Isolation
Let the holy within you rise
to greet silence as a friend
and enter into prayer
that moves and lives
and has being in you
for as long as it lasts.

Easter blessings and prayerful support
The Sisters of Providence wish you a happy Easter! We hope Sister Dawn's messages bring you some comfort during this difficult time.

BEing Providence in the World
For me, this was a providential encounter of Beginning Encounter (BE) and the Providence Associate program. After my husband died in 2010, I came to my “BE Weekend.” I joined the team in late 2011 and have been, in Henry Nouwen’s words, a “wounded healer” ever since, serving in various capacities, helping myself while helping others like me.

Prayer of Reunion
Please join the Sisters of Providence and all who share in the charism of Providence by saying this prayer at 3 p.m. daily, wherever you may be.

A reflection for the week
These reflections will be encouraging and thoughtful for all who are seeking God in these difficult times.

Joint effort response regarding coronavirus
'We have begun to plan for how the spread of the coronavirus might impact our community.'

2017-18 Annual Report
"The facts and figures contained in the Annual Report witness once again to the reality that the Providence of God manifests itself in the financial generosity as well as in the service of so many friends."
