I celebrate the life of the beloved I knew,
the hands I held, the life I shared.

You are the third partner in our marriage, enhancing our love for each other, strengthening us in times of trial, and supplying us with both anchor and wings, that we may remain steadfast and true while soaring far beyond where we could be alone.

May we never remain complacent, frustrated and hopeless.

Holy God,take away all hatred, prejudice and divisionand all things that interfere with what makes us ONE.May we be united in beliefs and practices of Peace, Faith, and Justice…Empower us…

I don’t even want to recount
what has happened
in my life this year.
I just want to be with the One
who already knows.
who knows me through and through
better than I know myself.

Give us an abundance of patience as we learn to juggle our teaching, sanitizing, distancing and masking, while trying to be attentive to the needs of our students.

Almighty God, as they walk the halls of sickness, help them to be a healing presence

May this layer of protection never be a separation of compassion.
With so many sick, help us to give quality when unable to give time.

Lord Jesus, You only have us,
to stand in for You. Make ours Your healing touch. Make ours the words You’d speak.
Make our outreach to families and loved ones the comfort and hope You’d give.
Let us be Your love.

Protect us from plummeting into the social darkness of racism, poverty and despair that a pandemic can cause.
Aid our global community as it seeks to share resources, human skills and the knowledge needed to eradicate the virus.

Heal those who are sick. Restore them to full health.

During Black History month, we raise up the memory of Black Americans whose lives inspire us to live our baptismal call to the fullest, and implore their intercession to blot out the sin of racism
