2026 Sarah and Joseph Thralls Award Winner: Robb Farris

Like Sarah and Joseph Thralls, for whom his award is named, Robb Farris and his family opened their house and their hearts to the Sisters of Providence. The Thralls Award recognized Robb Farris for his lifelong bond with the Sisters of Providence and these sacred grounds.

From his early school years being taught (both in the classroom and on the basketball court!) by Sisters Mary Morley and Kathleen Desautels to today as a Providence Associate, volunteer, and Mission Advisory Board member, Robb’s relationship and dedication to the Providence Community continues to deepen.

Robb spends countless hours in partnership with Sister Mary Morley beautifying the sacred places at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.

His dedication can be seen in the careful cleaning of the Lourdes Grotto, the colorful flowers planted each season in our many cement planters on campus, and in the way he lovingly restores our many sacred places at the Woods.
