Our 2025 special Christmas Message for all of you!

The Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, and General Superior Sister Dawn Tomaszewski chose the the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes as the backdrop for the Congregation’s special Christmas Message for all of you this season.

The Grotto, as Sister Dawn explains, was built to express gratitude for the conclusion of World War I. It also honors the healing ministry of Mary, mother of Jesus.

She also invites you all to join us during 2026 to celebrate the 20-year anniversary of the canonization of Saint Mother Theodore Guerin and the 30-year anniversary of White Violet Center for Eco-Justice. All are welcome!

Merry Christmas to everyone from the Sisters of Providence!
