Tracey Horan enters the postulancy of the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods on Sept. 8, 2014. Sisters welcome her with open hearts and arms during a short ritual filled with prayer, readings and song. She receives a special blessing and receives her keys to her new home in Owens Hall.

Tracey Horan (center) is met by a group of sisters inside Providence Hall. They then proceed to the Providence Hall Parlor for a special blessing.
Tracey Horan knocks on the Providence Hall door, as so many young women have done in the past. The door is answered by Sister Denise Wilkinson, general superior, and many other sisters, who officially “welcome” Tracey.
