Biography
Sister Teresa, formerly Sister Ellen Maureen, was born in County Galway, Ireland. Currently, ministers in health care and residential services at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.
Sister Teresa entered the Congregation on July 22, 1953, from St. Peter Parish, Dorchester, Mass. She professed final vows on Jan. 23, 1961.
She graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a bachelor’s degree in education and also earned a master’s degree in education from Indiana State University. Sister Teresa also has a master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Graduate Theology Foundation from Donaldson, Ind.
Sister Teresa has ministered in Illinois, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Indiana and Florida.
